Award/Recognition

We started recognizing a Driver of the Month. Annually we have an recognition ceremony that we incorporate with training. At this we recognize those that have gone the fiscal year with no at-fault accidents. We also award lapel pins to those that have reached the 50,000 miles, 150,000 miles, 250,000 miles and 500,000 miles safely driven with no at fault accidents. Finally, present a plaque and a time off certificate to our Driver of the Year recipient.

We have a program called Mug Shots. When a driver gets an accolade from a passenger we give them a mug with their picture on it and filled with goodies.

We have many of the same things as above. In addition, when one of our passengers calls in with a compliment about a specific driver that compliment is recorded and goes in to the driver's file.

We also recognize compliments to drivers on their customer service. If is an occasion that the driver went above and beyond, we recognize them in from of their peers with a Certificate of Appreciation. Otherwise we acknowledge the call on a bulletin board (we call it "The Brag Board") with a smiley face that says "GOOD JOB!" and has their name, the date of the call, and first name of the client. Both are recorded in their files.
