Do you have a formal procedure for passengers to request a new stop on an existing route?

I think an interesting piece of that would also be does your organization currently have a policy on when a bench, shelter, or other amenity is added at a bus stop? The current policy of the City of Raleigh is that shelters and benches are warranted at bus stops when there are at least 25 and 10 boardings a day respectively. Special facilities may be provided, if necessary, at hospitals and clinics.
